Bank Deposits, Bonds, Short term safety – Is that what I am?
I would have never imagined cash, bank fixed deposits and bonds as appealing for the investment. I’ve been always a fan of action movie. Just fast and easy! There must be some opportunity where the irrational has created an arbitrage situation to short. Dare to be loser, sell the stocks even with own invested money at the higher prices. Don’t worry just sell it and wait till the market falls.
Today, the BSE sensex is down 1000 point from its last peak of 18000 and the same with the Dow Jones 900 points down from the last peak. And, the upside doesn’t seem so certain any-more either. My feeling is much more downside coming. Have the guts to play the downside? Either way speculation and valuation are unpredictable due to too many uncertainties in the world economy.
Where is sustained growth coming from in the near future. I’ll be happy to get my money from bank deposit again when I can answer that question. Until then I’m heading for the exit and into safety.
That’s not my kind, to turn the face away from speculation and taking the short-term safety and not finding opportunity or safety in this economic climate. I may be saving myself from the losses which could be possible in near future. Opportunity in safety! I can’t believe myself on fixed income.
Did India/China really start bursting out housing? France can’t remain in AAA credit standing? Spain needs a major loans? All of sudden safety is priority!!!
