With the gambling immediate results come out, either lose or gain. The simple fact that gambling games are frivolous (lack of seriousness) to a certain degree is precisely what makes them enjoyable to a gambler.
For plenty of people, gambling is a way to have fun. But sort addiction of gambling becomes a problem for people and has no stand for harmless entertainment. Investment is an asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or appreciate in the future. Higher the risk, higher the return. Gambling is full of risks and a game of pure luck. If your definition of gambling is broad enough, then nearly anything you do is a gamble. Most actions involve some degree of risk, even if that risk is negligible. But there’s always a chance that some bad result will occur. Investment safety priority rise with the rise in the age of an investor. People tend to make safer investment rather than gambling. Systematic diversified portfolio and organized investment can control risk as well as returns on investments.
Money Change Pockets,
Money jumps one pocket to another, that’s how gambling is done. If there is a one winner there is a loser too. Whereas, for investments, both buyer and seller could be winner in case of price of shares are high. Money change the pocket here too, but first invested money remain with the company, and the amount invested are re-valued hgier every year by adding profits by these companies.
Understand the difference,
When gambling you lose all control over the outcome. If you buy any asset without first valuing it, you should admit to gambling. Indeed, any stock-picking method that isn’t premised on a sober appraisal of intrinsic worth is useless and ultimately degenerates into trial-and -error forecasting. If you cannot reasonably calculate what the asset is worth before you buy it (or what it could be worth) you cannot determine whether you will make money.
True investing means reducing the probabilities of error, which is accomplished only through objective analysis. Before you buy a stock, ask yourself what you really are relying onto make money -is it the growth in the value of the company? Or are you simply hoping for a magical increase in price after you buy it?
